Covert Narcissists Do Not Want You to Know About This

In conclusion, the Narcissist has many faces. They adjust depending on who they are around and what they are trying to accomplish. They can make people feel sorry for them, make people laugh and feel at ease with them, and make people idolize them and fall in love with them. In public, they adjust and be whatever you want them to be. But in general, their public role is all about winning the trust of outsiders. In their private lives, they are very controlling and abusive, so their private role is that of a complete menace to those nearest to them. Their final and most secretive role is the personal role they play. This is for no one else but themselves, and it is one of self-loathing. Narcissists are not at peace with who they really are. They do not find happiness in the things they accomplish or acquire as they thought they would. Their existence is one of pretense and misery. No one and nothing will ever be enough unless they address the darkness within themselves.

But now, I want to hear from you: What role is a Narcissist playing in your life? Is it one of their public roles where they are trying to gain your love or sympathy? Are you a part of their private life where you have to deal with their abuse and control? Or are you one of the few to witness them consumed in their addictions and on a path to self-destruct?
