- Obsessive Grooming: They become obsessed with their appearance, grooming more than usual and acting younger than their real age. While grooming is normal, in this context, it becomes excessive, focusing on weight, appearances, and constantly looking in the mirror. They may even get plastic surgeries to appear more attractive, all to lure a new person in. This behavior is delusional, as they believe they are younger than they are, rejecting the aging process to maintain their charisma.
They Brush Off Cheating Stories as Lies
- Dismissing Proof: When caught with undeniable proof of cheating, they brush it off as lies spread by haters or jealous ex-partners. They claim the evidence is fabricated, making you believe their ex is creating conspiracies. They play the victim, making you feel sorry for them, and gaslight you into doubting the reality. This self-gaslighting occurs because of their manipulation, making you believe these stories are false, despite everyone else being a hater according to their persecutory paranoia.
