Finally, narcissists turn off all notifications on their phones so that nothing is displayed, keeping their online activity hidden. They do this to conceal affairs or other secretive interactions. Their phone is like a treasure chest, filled with secrets, but they will never give you access. It’s heavily guarded with passwords and app locks to ensure their activities remain private.
In short, their relationship with their phone is dysfunctional and toxic, enabling their narcissism. The phone becomes an extension of themselves because it’s a key source of supply.
Keep in mind that while some of these behaviors might resonate with you, that doesn’t mean you are a narcissist. Intent matters. Your reasons and your history are what determine if these actions apply to you in the same way.
