7 Ways a Narcissist Ends Up Losing

Nobody wants to do anything with them because they’re crankier than ever when old age hits them, when they collapse. Everybody is just willing to get rid of them. They want what they need, and they just don’t want to be around at all. There is no empathy in anybody’s heart towards them because they’re extremely abusive still. They don’t change; they only get worse with time. How do I know this? I saw that happening with my grandfather, who recently passed away. Her children, who most of them are narcissists like he was, didn’t want to do anything. And the crazy thing is, they fought over expenses, some small amount of money. When he died, nobody wanted to spend anything on him. Isn’t that a big loss? I think it is. If your own children don’t want to do anything with you at all, they don’t shed a tear, nobody does, nobody feels heaviness, nobody has any fond memories to think of you by, nobody has anything sweet to say, and everybody wants to be done with your rotting corpse, you have truly wasted your life. I’m just saying this to a narcissist, and I think that is one of the biggest losses. No one, it’s not just the family, no one speaks positively about this person. Everybody, deep down or secretly, says, ‘Oh, he was a horrible person. Oh, she was a monster. It’s better that they’re gone now. Done, a weight is lifted.’

Their false self fails them.

The self that was perceived to be indestructible, the self that was labeled as all-encompassing and omnipotent, now it’s in shambles, nowhere to be found. There are cracks everywhere in the mask, which is why the true self, the rottenness, the shame, the insecurities, all the unprocessed emotions, everything the narcissist ever tried to suppress through the false self, is oozing out of every single part of them. Everything they see reminds them of how fragile they are. Everything they hear goes within and gets them to get in touch with that pain. That is what remains of their life. A narcissist’s end of life is an end of great suffering, and that suffering does not come from anywhere outside; it comes from within. It comes from their realization that everything they had ever created was nothing but fake. Their own memories of entitlement, grandiosity do not give them supply enough to sustain that self. It comes crumbling down when they come face to face with their end, with death, and that is what takes over them, that’s what devours them. That’s the end of their miserable and pathetic self. In my opinion, their life is nothing but a great loss. Yes, they get enough time to do all sorts of nonsense, but at the end of it all, they fall. That was it for today’s episode. I hope you found it insightful. If you did, let me know in the comments. Also, let me know what you resonated with the most in this episode. I’ll talk to you in the next one. Until then, as always, do not forget to let the healing begin and continue.
