The second way is digital monitoring. This involves phone and computer tracking devices where they can install spyware on your devices, allowing them to monitor your messages, calls, emails, and even your location. They can also use GPS trackers that can be placed on just about any of your belongings to keep tabs on your whereabouts. Narcissists can be very possessive of those they are in a relationship with, and their insecurities can drive them to do things like this. Some would even go as far as installing cameras in the home to monitor your movements within the house.
5 Physical Surveillance
The third way is Physical Surveillance. This is where they basically follow you around. You might see them outside your work, at social events, or even near your home. They can also get others to spy on you by feigning concern for your well-being. They might use family, friends, and even neighbors to keep an eye on you and report back.
4 Interrogation
The fourth way they spy is through interrogation. Narcissists usually love talking about themselves. So, when they come around trying to casually question you about your life, and the questions just keep coming, this is not a conversation; this is an interrogation. The Narcissist is fishing for information. Their interest in your life does not come from an innocent place. They may bring these questions to you directly or they may go to a mutual friend or family member. So, be careful who you share your business with.
