Do not tell them their narcissism is caused by their childhood trauma or that their parents or family are bad. This will not wake them up or make them realize they come from a dysfunctional family. You are dealing with a narcissistic family cult, and narcissistic abuse is almost always a team sport. Pointing out their reality will not wake them up; they will remain in their delusional bubble because it serves their false ego. They will gossip about you and raise more enemies against you. Don’t tell them what is wrong, as they are not solution-focused like you. They see themselves as eternal victims of others’ doings. Do not tell them to stop playing the victim because it will only validate their victimhood.
