For a long time, their strategy worked. They drained you, made you doubt your sanity, and felt worthless. You were engaged in endless arguments with them, trying to use logic, wrestling in the mud. But here’s the thing: wrestling with a pig in the mud will leave you exhausted, while the pig is having fun. Then something shifts. You hit rock bottom, and in that darkness, you cry out to your higher power, to God, or anything you believe has more power than the narcissist. You surrender. You stop trying to fix the narcissist and turn your face toward God. This is when your spiritual shield activates. You stop trying to outsmart them and instead decide to out-vibrate them.
What does out-vibrating them mean? It means you elevate your frequency, step into radical peace, and cease reacting to their messages. You stop defending your character and letting their chaos infiltrate your nervous system. You build an invisible divine force field around your spirit. When this happens, the narcissist feels it instantly. Remember, they are connected to you through an invisible energetic cord. For years, they used that cord to suck the life out of you. Every time they insulted you, they felt a rush of power as your energy traveled down that cord and fed their ego. But when you are spiritually protected, that cord is violently severed.
The narcissist sends a nasty text message and expects you to cry or fight back. They sit there waiting for the emotional reaction, but nothing comes. Instead of an emotional response, they hit a solid wall of divine peace. When they reach out to grab you, they find themselves touching a high-voltage electric fence, triggering massive panic inside them. The dark entity attached to the narcissist is now starving because the food supply has been cut off. When a parasite is starving, it becomes violent and desperate. This is what we call the extinction burst.
When the narcissist realizes they can no longer penetrate your spirit one-on-one, they change tactics. They know they are too weak to break your shield alone, so they call for backup. They recruit an army of flying monkeys, running to your family, friends, and co-workers, spinning twisted, vicious lies about you. They play the victim, shedding fake tears, using these people as foot soldiers because they can no longer touch you directly. They want to overwhelm your force field through sheer numbers. The dark energy inside them is highly contagious and can easily infect those without their own spiritual discernment. Suddenly, it feels like the entire world is turning against you.
This is the hardest part of the spiritual test. When the flying monkeys attack, your human instinct is to drop your shield and fight back. But you must resist that urge. You must hold your altitude and stay above the storm. If you stoop to their level to defend yourself, you lose your protection. Trust the higher power that is guarding you and let them talk. Let them spread rumors. A lion does not turn around every time a small dog barks. You are protected by the ultimate authority and do not need to explain your soul to those committed to misunderstanding you.
