2 Using Children
The sixth way a Narcissist can spy on you applies to those who have children with a Narcissist. Co-parenting with a Narcissist is already difficult, and it is unfortunate that they would use your children to spy on you. They would manipulate these children to share certain information with them. So, as much as you love your children, if there is anything you do not want your narcissistic ex to know about you, for the time being, you will have to keep it from your children.

The seventh and final way the Narcissist can spy on you is through a smear campaign. Let me explain. A smear campaign accomplishes many things for the Narcissist. They get to ruin your reputation, discredit you, cause people to turn their backs on you, etc. But the Narcissist is also observing to see who actually runs to your aid. Therefore, the smear campaign highlights who your support network is, if any. With that information, the Narcissist can now target these people who would be able to keep them in the loop with the information they need concerning you.
