Symptom #4: Sudden and Severe Headache
A sudden, severe headache may indicate an impending stroke, especially in hemorrhagic strokes, where bleeding increases pressure in the brain. Witnesses of stroke incidents often report that the person appears in severe pain, holding their head, before potentially losing consciousness. If you experience a severe headache, it’s essential to take it seriously and seek medical help, as it may also signal an imminent aneurysm rupture.
Symptom #5: Numbness or Weakness in Body Extremities
Numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body, may occur during a TIA and signal a stroke risk. Sudden weakness in an arm, leg, or one side of the face, even if temporary, should never be ignored and warrants immediate medical attention.
