If you have seen him take his mother to these places, I need you to understand one thing: you are not crazy. You’re not jealous or possessive, either. You are a woman who expected a partner and instead got a man who is already taken. You walked into a marriage that was already crowded.
This dynamic is not about love; it is about absolute control. The mother controls the son, and the son uses the mother to control you. It is a triangulation game designed to keep you insecure and begging for scraps of attention. You cannot compete with his mother because the game is rigged in her favor. She is the saint, and you are the sinner.
If you recognize these signs, stop trying to win him over. Stop trying to be better than her; you cannot win against a man who is groomed this way. The only way to win is to leave the game entirely.
