A narcissist’s reality checks never come softly; they come as storms. They lose their business, enablers, credibility, and ultimately their health. But instead of learning, they keep calling it bad luck, becoming victims. They think they have outsmarted life itself, not realizing that life is simply reflecting them. When their businesses fail, they build another on the same lie. When their favorite people leave, they find new ones to manipulate. When their lies backfire, they create new ones. When the person they discarded moves on, they replace them. And when their health collapses, what do they do? They still refuse to change. That’s how they are. The universe does not hate them; it is trying to save them from themselves. Every downfall is a message saying it’s time to glow up, time to feel, time to be human again. But the narcissist, being a narcissist, rejects every message because learning requires humility. Their humility feels like death to a fragile ego. So they stay stuck, repeating the same story lifetime after lifetime, blaming karma, people, and God for what they created themselves.
