Don’t Call Out a Narcissist. God Commands You to Do THIS Instead

Before you call out that narcissist, before you try to expose them, and before you waste another breath trying to make them see what they’ve done, stop. Listen. I know you want justice; I know you want them to acknowledge the pain they caused you. You want them to feel even an ounce of the suffering they inflicted on you. But before you do anything, before you let that impulse take over, let’s talk about what God actually wants you to do.

Calling them out isn’t just pointless; it’s dangerous. Every major spiritual tradition—the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita—warns against it. In today’s article, we will discuss how God wants you to deal with a narcissist. Instead of calling them out, I will share what I have learned from different religions because I believe in the Transcendent Unity of all faiths. Keep what you relate to and drop what you do not resonate with.

Understanding Narcissists Through Religious Teachings

The narcissist you were hurt by is not just a bad person; they are a force of corruption in this world, making them not just your enemy but the enemy of the Divine system. Their energy is heavy, dark, and self-serving. They take but do not give; they drain but do not replenish. They demand love but do not return it. They are spiritual parasites, and every religion warns us about them.

In Hinduism, the Bhagavad Gita speaks of those consumed by their own ego, saying, “The demonic do things they should avoid and avoid the things they should do. They have no purity, no good conduct, no truth” (Chapter 16:7). These people, lost in arrogance and deceit, do not seek enlightenment; they reject the path of Dharma (righteousness) and instead create chaos. They are not aligned with truth, and because of this, they are destined to fall.

In Christianity, the Bible states, “For they loved human praise more than the praise of God” (John 12:43). Narcissists live for admiration, power, and the illusion of being worthy. But what does God say about them? “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). They may seem to be getting away with their actions for now, but they are setting themselves up for spiritual destruction. Their house is built on sand, and when the storm comes, it will collapse.
