The teacher quickly spread the word about his intelligence, and he became recognized as the superstar. This gave him the supply he needed to put everyone down. He was extremely callous and targeted me, using my different personality against me. I was spiritual, not into sports, and seeking peace due to my personal experiences. He used this to label me as an outcast.
He played subtle mind games, pushing buttons, saying the right things, and being seen as a saint by the teachers. He gave me no chance to complain. Who would have believed me? He was a brilliant student, and our school was recognized because of his excellence. But still, I complained, and action was taken. His parents were called, which gave him a narcissistic injury, and he devised plans for revenge. I had to tolerate him for three years. He tried to destroy my friendships and put teachers down behind their backs. He would objectify female teachers and smirk whenever he answered correctly, displaying his arrogant attitude.
The Narcissist’s Rise to Fame
After graduating from high school, he appeared in one of the toughest engineering exams in the state, secured the top rank, and got admission to the only engineering college. It was a big accomplishment. He was all over social media and newspapers, and everyone got to know about him. This fed his narcissistic ego. In front of others, he pretended to be nice and humble, but deep down, he was a devil. I saw his true side.
