Despite being in a relationship, you feel as if you’re single, living with a roommate rather than a life partner. Every responsibility, decision, and moment rests solely on your shoulders. Parenting, for example, becomes entirely your job—from school runs to doctor appointments, homework to bedtime routines. They may be physically present but are mentally and emotionally checked out.
